Extreme Engineering Solutions is shipping XCalibur1501, the first MPC8572E based 6U CompactPCI board that scales from commercial to full-blown military (conduction-cooled) applications. Targeting NXP’s (formerly Freescale) dual-core PowerQUICC™ III MPC8572E processor, XCalibur1501 is being adopted by commercial, industrial and military system architects demanding high processing performance with low power consumption.
