Help X-ES maintain its core strength of engineering excellence. Gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies while making direct contributions to product development. Embedded Hardware Engineering Co-Ops assist design engineers in all aspects of board-level design, including HDL programming, signal integrity simulations, schematic capture, troubleshooting of rugged embedded hardware, and manufacturing support.
This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for either January–August of 2025 or May–December of 2025. This typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with printed circuit board design is preferred
- Experience with embedded systems, C programming, or digital logic is a plus
- Ability to creatively troubleshoot and solve electronic design problems
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting project deadlines with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate with software and embedded design engineers
