Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking an entry-level to intermediate maintenance technician to perform a variety of maintenance activities within the company. The ideal candidate will help carry out the preventative maintenance program and will conduct wide-ranging upkeep and repair actions on building infrastructure, safety systems, and ancillary production support equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks, such as equipment installation, valve repairs, machine servicing, component replacement, wiring repair, general building systems maintenance, and operation of shop machines
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical problems

Desired Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate) is required
• Active pursuit or completion of advanced education in an Industrial Maintenance field, military technical training, or two years of related maintenance experience is desired
• High level of mechanical aptitude and knowledge using hand and power tools
• Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to safely lift as much as 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance are required due to work-related supply pick-ups (mileage is reimbursed)
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA
