Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to apply their expertise in evaluating, researching, and refining manufacturing processes and procedures. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems, while also driving improvements in production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers. Your efforts will ensure the optimization of our manufacturing operations and contribute significantly to our overall success.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply a broad range of manufacturing knowledge and skills to assist various functional areas in meeting their strategic goals through continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers
  • Administer and provide training on manufacturing and company-wide processes, policies, and procedures
  • Provide engineering support by troubleshooting and resolving technical or procedural issues identified by project management team, customers, or the Quality department
  • Provide permanent corrective action to ongoing issues
  • Coordinate with design engineers, technicians, and outside vendors to implement product improvements
  • Lead the implementation of new technology and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide general leadership within the Manufacturing department and advise on process improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge base in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of related technical experience
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated in order to drive projects forward, with strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • General computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise judgment and utilize appropriate resources when making decisions that affect product quality
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of electrical components and manufacturing assembly process
  • Certification or knowledge / understanding of IPC Standards
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and leadership
