Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to serve as a necessary bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and customer support. The X-ES Quality team maintains and implements the company’s quality management system to ensure compliance with international standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee internal process audits and assess non-conformance
- Facilitate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Perform process gap analysis
- Facilitate the definition, documentation, and revision of procedures and work instructions related to all company functions
- Compile and analyze performance metrics, and provide management with suggestions for improvement
- Represent the company as point of contact for vendor and customer quality departments, including on-site audits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Quality Management or Quality Assurance, or a related field; equivalent years of related experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Three years of experience with ISO 9001:2015 or similar Quality Management System, or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer proficiency with a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to organize and complete work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
Desired Qualifications
- AS9100 experience a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required, with technical writing and editing experience preferred
