The XTend300 adapter provides access to both the primary and secondary RS-232 serial ports that are present in an X-ES module’s micro-DB-9 connector.
When used in conjunction with a male micro-DB-9 to male DB-9 adapter cable (X-ES part number 90000075), the XTend300 separates the primary and secondary RS-232 ports from the micro-DB-9 connector into two full-size male DB-9 connectors.
These signals can then be connected to external equipment using two female DB-9 to female DB-9 null modem cables.
