The XTend404 provides JTAG access for FPGA configuration and debug for select X-ES modules with up to two AMD (formerly Xilinx) FPGAs. An AMD FPGA programming header supports AMD platform USB and Digilent JTAG-HS3 programmers. LEDs connected to each FPGA’s DONE signal indicate successful completion of FPGA configuration.
Additional LEDs and test points connected to FPGA I/O can be used for general-purpose debug, while push buttons can be used to force FPGA reconfiguration.
