The XIt1190 is a highly configurable development module providing I/O expansion to custom Ethernet switch configurations. Its T-shaped design fits in VITA 46.10 RTM slots and allows for convenient access to more I/O connectors than standard VITA 46.10 RTMs.

The XIt1190 contains 10 total zQSFP+ connectors. Seven connectors support up to seven ports of 40GBASE-KR, 28 ports of 10GBASE-KR, or 14 ports of 10GBASE-T/1000BASE-T Ethernet. The other three connectors support up to six ports of 10GBASE-KR or three ports of 10GBASE-T/1000BASE-T Ethernet. A USB-C Dual UART serial port supports the serial pinout on custom 3U VPX Ethernet switches and features a single screw lock. DIP switches provide LP_MODE signals to reduce power consumption and VPX_GA signals to identify slot positions of each module in a chassis.

Configurations with various combinations of XIt1191 passthrough I/O modules can be installed per payload pinout. Contact X-ES for additional details and considerations.

The XIt1190 exceeds 1.0 in. slot pitch component height. Users should evaluate the dimensions of any adjacent RTMs to determine whether this will affect compatibility in 1.0 in.-pitch development systems.
